At Santa Clara County Court, the student:teacher ratio has risen 19% over the 5-year window — from 3.7:1 in 2020 to 4.4:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 11.7:1 below in 2020 to 11.0:1 below in 2024.
