What we're seeing
At Canyon Oaks Youth Center, chronic absenteeism has been essentially flat over the 5-year window — from 0.0% in 2017 to 116.7% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 28.0% above in 2017 to 88.7% above in 2020.
